She was predeceased by: her husband Troy Byess; her son Scott Byess; her parents, JB Lee and Mamie Lee; and her siblings, JW, Lee and Mary Jo Satterfield.
She is survived by: her children, Billie Jo Satterfield (Johnathan) of Waleska, Michelle Barker (Kenneth) of Waleska, Randy Byess of Cedartown, Tex Byess (Debbie) of Talking Rock and Todd Byess of Titusville, FL.; and her grandchildren, Kathy Strom, Robert Barker, Amy Lovig, Kristie Barker, Corey Byess, Brandon Byess, Ryan Barker, Maranda Henderson, Jacob Byess, Jeremy Stoker, Kirstie Cochran and Logan Satterfield. She is also survived by 16 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great-great Grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
