With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Helen Dukes of Wadley, Georgia, who passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie R. Miller and Ethel Avant Miller; and her husband John Amos Dukes. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Hart of Tennille, Wayne Dukes (Marsha) of Laurens, S. C., Susan Hagan (Robert) of Cullowhee, N. C., Ray Dukes of Gibson and David Dukes (Susan) of Harvest, AL. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Donations may be made to Bethesda Primitive Baptist Church in Jefferson County or to Long Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Emanuel County.
