She was predeceased by: her parents, George Marvin Brett and Lou Ella Edenfield; her husband Roy Gaston; and her brothers, Danny Brett and Buddy Brett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah G. Pate of Gibson, Joan G. Barsh of Gibson, Karen G. Sheppard (Tommy) of Avera and Ann G. Baker (Billy) of Evans; her sister Rose Grabowskii (Phillip) of North Augusta; and her sister-in-law Jane Brett of Wadley. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
