He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack L. Brown and Ruth Lamb Brown. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brown; his sons, Randy Brown and Jerry Brown; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Brown, Kenny Brown, Davi McGowan, Jeff Brown, Ben Brown and Aaron McGowan. He is also survived by Five Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

The family invites friends to make memorial contributions to the Wadley Methodist Church if they so desire.
