He was predeceased by: his parents, George H Ratchford and Lois Ferris Ratchford; and his wife Janice Meadows Ratchford. He is survived by: his children, George Ratchford, Jr. (Kay) of Wadley, GA. and Donna Dollar (Bobby) of Wadley, GA.; his grandchildren, Rachel Ratchford (Mel), George Ratchford, III (Lyndsey), Thomas Ratchford (Breanne) and Jennifer Dixon (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Thea Ratchford, Jacob Dixon, Daniel Dixon, Levi Dixon, Samuel Dixon, Will Kirk and Lexi Kirk.

Great-Grandchildren: Thea Ratchford, Jacob Dixon, Daniel Dixon, Levi Dixon, Samuel Dixon, Will Kirk & Lexi Kirk, Memorial contributions may be made to the Wadley Baptist Church & to the Gideon's.
