Elizabeth Lawrence Black Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth Lawrence Black (Wadley, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elizabeth left this world on May 27, 2024 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Aurelia Marshall Lawrence and Junius Francis Lawrence. She is survived by: her husband William Monroe Black; her children, Scott Black (Wendi), Sandra Pederson (Randall), Dorris Realy (Vic Hall) and Bill Black (Candy); and her sisters, Sybil Turner and Judy Tuten. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Because of the unexpected diagnosis of bone cancer and her ensuing passing a week later, the family respectfully requests that, In lieu of flowers, memorial donations which would reflect Adell's spirit of generosity and care for others that defined her life, be made directly to James Funeral Home by mailing your check to PO Box 588, Wrens GA 30833 or by clicking on the link below: https://www.jamesfhwrens.com.
