With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Louise Gibbons of Wadley, Georgia, born in Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on August 30, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Bernard (Mary) of Louisville, GA, Samuel Gibbons, Jr. (Lynn) and Winifred M. Hunter; her siblings, Larry Cordy, Harry Cordy, Annie Edwards, Gracie Crowder (Alvin), Brenda Cordy, Connie Cordy, Johnnie Sylvester, Carolyn Moore (Thomas), Gloria Reddick, Raised and Eunice Oliver; her grandchildren, Cornelius Williams, Emory Williams, Derrick Edwards, Markese Willis, Lamarius Johnson, Quentavious Gibbons, Gabriel Hunter, Samuel Gibbons, III and Rashan Gibbons; and her friends, Caregivers and Comfort Creek Nursing. She is also survived by twenty one great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 11:00 A. M. at Salter Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Bartow, GA. with mask and social distancing.
