He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin George Newberry and Louise Bagley Newberry; his children, Tammy Newberry and Roy Newberry, Jr.; and his siblings, Elaine Pruitt, Diane Bradford, Janie Holmes, Judy Glow, George Newberry, Jr. and Gary Newberry.
He is survived by: his sister Debra Byous of Mansfield; and his caregivers, Susan and Tim Bright of Waco.
