He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Edward Nixon and Edna Lee Nixon Lyons; his brothers, Doyle Nixon and Sidney Nixon; and his sister-in-law Hildred Nixon.
He is survived by: his wife Clarice "Kitty" Nixon; his children, Deanna Britt (Ronnie) and Jamie Nixon; his stepchildren, Roy Hearn (Teressa), April Butler (Herb) and Orlando Driver (Richard); his grandchildren, Ronnie Britt Jr., Amber Britt, Ashley Britt, Lindy Hearn, Justin Hearn, Kenzie Butler and Kass Butler; his siblings, Linda Allen (Jay), Donald Nixon (Gabriele), Jerrell Nixon (Sharon), Rodney Nixon and Tony Nixon (Peggy Jean); his sisters-in-law, Wanda Nixon and Ernie Nixon; and also Disease. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
But his most enduring legacy is that of a dedicated husband and a tireless caregiver to his beloved wife Clarice "Kitty" Nixon during her 12-year battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
