He was predeceased by: his mother Lillian Faye Murphy (Clements). He is survived by: his wife Amelia Subialdea of Waco; his children, Jonathan Murphy of Waco and Montgomery Murphy of Waco; his father Huey Gerald Murphy; his stepmother Patricia Murphy of Villa Rica; and his siblings, Jeremy (Cynthia Murphy), Shane Vance of West Virginia, Lester Murphy of Tennessee, Jerri Lynn Murphy of Missouri and Yvette (Andy Little). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and a number of other relatives.
