He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Mitchell Johnston and Mary Lucille Johnston; and his sister Josephine Stevens. He is survived by: his children, Tony Johnston, Jr. (Janet) of Villa Rica, Rhonda Bryson (Greg) of Cartersville and Sharon Medlin (Jason) of Carrollton; his siblings, Reatha Elliott of Mableton, Mary Ann Sands of Douglasville, George Johnston of Bremen, Ricky Johnston (Cheryl) of Calhoun and Mickey Johnston of Mableton; and his close friend Jane Farrar. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
