He is survived by: his wife Janith Cameron Abston; his daughters, Laura Ludwig (Peter) of Chelsea, AL and Rachel Yarbrough (Jody) of Acworth, GA; his grandchildren, Thomas Ludwig, Owen Yarbrough, Jonathan Ludwig and Evelyn Yarbrough; his siblings, Dot Barrentine of Aliceville, AL, J. T. Abston (Frances) of Gautier, MS and Richard Abston (Carol) of Vernon, AL; and his sister-in-law Alice Faye Abston of Aliceville, AL..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the York Municipal Cemetery.
