It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Miller of Villa Rica, Georgia, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Akins and Gladys McCord Akins; her husband Bobby Gene Miller; her brother Clyde Lloyd Akins; her sister-in-law Pat Akins; her grandson SGT Michael Hardegree; and her grandson-in-law Derrick Shaw (William Garner).
She is survived by: her children, Becky, Keith Rollins, Cindy and George Chip; her grandchildren, Beth Shaw, Samantha Rollins and William Rollins; and her great grandchildren, Kass Shaw, Anna Shaw and Liam Shaw.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home & Cremation Service (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Melrose Hills Memorial Park (9446 Villa Rica Hwy, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Shirley's memory.
