We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2024, at the age of 77, Sheila Diane Gibby of Villa Rica, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Armstrong and Betty Smith Armstrong; her husband Edward Gibby; and her son Greg Gibby. She is survived by: her daughter Laura Morrison (Scott); her grandchildren, Gregory Gibby, Justin Morrison, Sydney Morrison and Jacob Gibby; her great grandchildren, Brynlee Gibby and Ambre Post; her siblings, Eddie Armstrong (Libby) and Deloris Myers (Rick); and her aunts, Joan Bearden and Catherine Galbreath. She is also survived by 2 nieces and 5 nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Rosehaven Memorial Park Cemetery (8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, GA 30134).
