It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Cheshire Henson Tovey (Villa Rica, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Henson and Isabelle Cheshire Henson; and her husband Rev. Pete M. Tovey. She is survived by: her son Mike; and her daughter-in-law Mary Beth Tovey of Villa Rica. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In keeping with Mrs. Tovey's wishes she was donated to Emory University School of Medicine.
