Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Richard leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Sumners and Helon Wheeles Sumners; and his brothers, Royce Sumners and Rodney Sumners. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Fennell Sumners of Villa Rica; his son Joseph Brandon; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Sumners of Rockmart; and his son Matt Andrew Sumners of Villa Rica. He is also survived by two grandchildren and many friends.
