She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernard McCord and Isabell Shepherd McCord; and her brothers, Eddie McCord, Bobby McCord and Thomas Daniel McCord.
She is survived by: her son Scott Helton of Carrollton; her sister Linda Wheeler (Betty Drew) of Villa Rica; her sister-in-law Barbara McCord of Villa Rica; and her grandchildren, Heath Cumming and Dara Helton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home & Cremation Service (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Meadowbrook Memory Gardens (1100 NE Hickory Level Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
