She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Clifton and Thelma Clifton (Robinson); her husband Winford "J. R." Bowen; her daughter Jennifer Weaver; and her brother Dickie Clifton.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie Thompson (Chris Welcher) of Newnan; her brother Ronnie; her sister-in-law Marie Clifton of Newnan; her grandchildren, Heather Thompson, Chloe Merritt, Mikey Merritt, Blaine Thompson, Mason Reddick and Kassidy Reddick; and her great grandchildren, Hope Thompson and Carson Pilkey.
