She was predeceased by: her parents, James McWaters and Flora K. Patton McWaters; her husband Obie Lester Scott; her daughter Selina; her son-in-law Sonny Barron; and her son Butch Scott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Dillard (Bill), Lisa Scott (Nancy) and Michelle Hutcheson (Jeremy); and her grandchildren, Donald, Wendy James, Carrie, Jeremy Brown, Kaylee and Charles Hanner. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
