She was predeceased by: her brother Justin Richardson; and her father-in-law Captain Bruce Leon Hawk. She is survived by: her parents, Herb Richardson and Violet Taylor Richardson; her husband David Travis Gibson; her daughter Ashlee Gibson of Villa Rica; her mother-in-law Barbara Hawk; her sisters-in-law, Ginger Gibson and Tami Gibson; and her nephew Brock Gibson. She is also survived by several grandparents, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
