It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Kay Cole of Villa Rica, Georgia, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harl Cole and Vesta Haley Cole; her siblings, John Anthony Cole, Paul Wayne Cole and Valerie Carlucci; her nephew Leon Carlucci; her niece Megan Carlucci; her adoptive sons, Bobby and Matt Ingram; and her close friends, Mitch Ingram and Ricky Oliver.
She is survived by: her children, Emily Bumgarner of Brookhaven, Haley Scott (Brian) of Monrovia, California and Daniel Bumgarner of Hiram; her siblings, Pamela Overton of Marietta and Kendrix Cole of Dallas, GA; and her close friends, Cheryl Ingram and Kathi Seiwert of Paulding. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and countless other adopted family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn - Villa Rica Chapel (306 Westview Dr, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Zion Cemetery.
