He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Fred Carnes and Lois Wix Carnes; his former wife Mary Nell Johnson Carnes; his brothers, Ernest Carnes (Dunc) and Robert Kenneth Carnes (Kenny); his son Brian Keith Allison; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Carnes and Donna Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Carnes; his daughter Brigit Allison Combs (Bill) of Villa Rica; his brother Joe Venoy Carnes of Douglasville, GA; his grandchildren, Caleigh Rose Allison and Wade Rex Cannon-Combs; and his friends, Cindy, Julie and Rusty. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
