She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Guy Hutchinson and Mary Ann Sadilek Hutchinson; her husband Wallace Eugene Childers, Sr.; her children, Rebecca Ann Sharpnack and Jesse Childers; her siblings, Blanche Coker, Joesphine Sadilek, Evelyn Wallis and Joe Sadilek; her grandchildren, Donna Davis and Michael Keith Copeland; and also Craig George Kunschman, Jr..
She is survived by: her close friend Louie Howard of Villa Rica; and her children, Wally Childers of Hiram, Lucy Foster of Ft. Valley, VA, Denise Wilbanks of Dallas, Terry, Murl Holcomb of Temple, Caroline and Ricky Calhoun of Villa Rica. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Mt. View Park Cemetery (410 Whitlock Ave NW, Marietta, GA 30064).
