She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Emerson Dowda, Sr. and Ruby Bell Edwards; and her husband Bobby Lamar Cosey. She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Cosey of Villa Rica; her siblings, Joseph Emerson Dowda, Jr. of Texas, Jane Carroll, Nancy (Paul Williams) and Netta (Kenneth Ragar); and her grandchildren, Joel Burdick, Tadd Burdick and Stephanie Burdick. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, six great great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.
