He was predeceased by: his parents, John Billy Bailey and Mary Margaret Knight Bailey; and his siblings, John Bailey and Barbara Bailey. He is survived by: his siblings, Sara Smith (J. B.) of Villa Rica, Darlene Garrett of Villa Rica and Robert Bailey (Gloria) of Villa Rica. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
