With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John David McClain of Villa Rica, Georgia, born in Birmingham, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2024 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemmie Lee McClain and Mary Etheline Henry McClain; his wife Patricia McClain; his children, Michael McClain, Lacey and Lori McClain; and his brother Robert McClain.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Ann Laney (Anthony) of Villa Rica and Jason McClain (Britta) of Rockmart; his brother Danny McClain of Palmetto; and his grandchildren, Greyson McClain, Ellie McClain, Lydia Laney, Elias Laney and Alyssa Matznick. He is also survived by his family and friends.
