He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jerry Atkins, Sr. and Betty Joan Berry Atkins. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Bonner Atkins of Villa Rica, Georgia; his children, Kirstie Atkins of Villa Rica, Georgia, Landdon Haynes of Bremen, Kyle (Chin Haynes) and Jordon Atkins of Villa Rica, Georgia; his sisters, Debra (John Budney) and Tammy Atkins; and his grandchildren, Lody, Reiken, Trinidy, Daelan and Tyler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
