He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Fred Carnes and Lois Wix Carnes; his brothers, Marion Fred Carnes, Robert Kenneth Carnes and Earnest Michael Carnes; and his former wife Patricia Keesee Carnes.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Carnes (Courtney) of Carrollton; and his grandchildren, Caleb Michael Crews, Lauren Whitley Carnes, Chandler Lee Carnes and Gabriella Grace Carnes. He is also survived by his loving family and many friends.
