He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Thomas Rogers, Sr. and Lonnie Steed; and his brother Billy Thomas, Jr. (Jeanette Rogers). He is survived by: his siblings, Johnny (Rosie Morgon), Ginger (Bruce Doty) and Lynn Chavies (Rick) of Tennessee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a number of other relatives.
