He is survived by: his wife Sandi Dumas Acker; his sons, Christopher William Acker (Autumn) of Dallas and Jonathan Lee Acker (Kristen) of Alpharetta; and his sister Bonnie Elizabeth Johnson of Roanoke. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
