James Means Cole Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate James Means Cole of Villa Rica, Georgia, whose life came to an end on February 21, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Jones Cole and Sarah Ruth Hamlin Cole; his wife Betty Gwendolyn McMichen; his daughter Lori Core; and his siblings, Allen Cole, Irene Cole Kitchens, Mildred Cole Conkle, Robert Cole and Homer Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Brook (Darwin) of Lithia Springs, Reid Cole of Trenton, GA and Daniel Cole of Canton, GA; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Cole of Warner Robbins, GA and Barbara Thompson of Sykesville, MD. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn - Villa Rica Chapel (306 Westview Dr, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
