We bid farewell to James H. Bone of Villa Rica, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2025 at the age of 84. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hugh Bone and Louvie Elizabeth West Bone; his brother Ted Bone; and his niece Dr. Tracy Bone Maloney. He is survived by: his wife Ann Graben Bone; his children, Susan Pullen (Nick) of Villa Rica and Ben Bone (Stephanie) of Grayson, Georgia; his sister Peggy Day (Don) of Fayetteville; and his grandchildren, Jack Pullen, Sam Pullen, Lily Pullen, Mackenzie Bone and Maddux Bone.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn - Villa Rica Chapel (306 Westview Dr, Villa Rica, GA 30180). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica (1483 US-78, Temple, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Memory Gardens (1100 NE Hickory Level Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
Flowers are accepted: however, contributions can be made to the Carroll County Veterans Park in memory of James H. "Jimmy" Bone.
