With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Williams Ewing of Villa Rica, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Fannin and Margaret Bartlett Fannin; her husbands, Hovis Willie Williams (Bill) and William Thomas Ewing (Tom); and her siblings, Harold R Fannin and Shirley F. Bell.

She is survived by: her children, Teresa A. Williams of Dallas and Hovis J; her daughter-in-law Lisa M. Williams; her grandchildren, H. Hayden, Katy Williams, H. Rhett, Sydney Williams, Savannah A., Luke Sauls, Tara L. and Kyle Carrier; and her great grandchildren, Hank, Audrey, Maryanna, Carter and Cash.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home & Cremation Service (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens (11261 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134).
