He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold Richardson and Maggie Connell Richardson; his siblings, Farris Richardson, Arnall Richardson and Norma Foster; and his siblings-in-law, Myrtie Richardson and Joe Foster.

He is survived by: his wife Jackie Leathers Richardson; his sons, Tant Richardson of Villa Rica and Toby Richardson of Winston, Georgia; his sister Margaret Morris (Wayne) of Perry, Georgia; and his sister-in-law Pat Richardson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to be made to First Baptist Church of Villa Rica or Ephesus Baptist Church.
