With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Tant Hughie of Villa Rica, Georgia, who passed away on June 30, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harwell Wesley Tant and Laura Ellen Johnson Tant; her husband Cula Thomas Hughie; her sisters, Gwen Holloway and Blanche Wilson; and her sons-in-law, John Walter Smith, III and Ted Bell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Moon (Mickey) of Temple, GA and Ann Bell; her grandchildren, Jennifer Bailey (Clayton) of Villa Rica, GA, Susan Wilkerson of Temple, GA and David Bell; and her great grandchildren, Preston Bell, Faith Wilkerson of Temple, GA, C. J. Bell (Camberly), Laine Wilkerson of Temple, GA, Patrick Bailey of Villa Rica, GA and Kenzie Bailey of Villa Rica, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are accepted, but the family has suggested that memorial contributions in her memory be made to Sacred Journey Hospice, 138 Peach Drive, McDonough, GA 30253.
