He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillard Staton and Irene Staton; his sisters, Adelle Staton and Judy Staton Price (Ray Price); his sister-in-law June Staton; and his brother Larry Staton (Gloria Staton).
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Macy, Carter Staton, Reed and Della White; and his brothers, Lonnie Staton, David Staton (Beverly Staton) and Gary Staton (Janet Staton). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery (2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
