He is survived by: his mother Nellie Janette Newborn Harrison; his wife Deborah Marie Johnston Clinton; his children, Diane, Joseph Chumley and Pamela Clinton; his grandchildren, Heather, Chris, Anthony, Elizabeth, William "Bobby", Joshua, Kimberly, Daniel, Britney and Alex; and his siblings, Sissy Higgins, Michael Clinton (Shirley), Marvin Clinton (Theresa), Jerry Clinton (Teresa), Marshall Higgins (Tina) and Jody Higgins (Wanda).
