We bid farewell to Doris Thurmond Fuller of Villa Rica, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 5, 2025 at the age of 81. Doris Thurmond touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Andrew Thurmond and Lorene Elliott Thurmond; her siblings, Ethelene Nalley, Phillip Thurmond and Marian Thurmond; and her grandson Josh Dempsey.
She is survived by: her children, Dare'Fuller Pace, Jeff Jackson of Rockmart, Bengie Fuller of Villa Rica and Temolin Dempsey of Temple; her siblings, Loretta Thurmond Warlick of Mesa, AZ and Vernell Thurmond Beddow of Plano, TX; and her grandchildren, Krista Adams, Cortney Pace, Austin Pace, Katie Pace, Robin Dempsey, Joseph and Geneva Gaskin Bovona. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home & Cremation Service (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at the Meadowbrook Memory Gardens (1100 NE Hickory Level Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
