He is survived by: his children, Amy (Steve Stewart), Chasity Smith of Villa Rica and Derrick Lynn Smith Jr. of Covington; and his brothers, Rusty Smith of Carrollton and Joe Smith of McDonough. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
