He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Melborne Golden and Ollie Doolin Golden. He is survived by: his sister Lisa; his brother-in-law Demetrius; his sister Sue Ann; his brother-in-law Curt Hallinger of Clayton; and his brother Glenn M. Golden, Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Remembrances can be made through charitable donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
