He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Olin Smith and Susie Bell Stancil Smith; and his wife Joann Carr Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Daryl Smith and Dewayne Smith of Villa Rica; his daughter-in-law Margaret Samantha Smith; and his grandson Spenser Lee Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Hoyt Thomas Funeral Home (1011 Topaz Ln, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral the Chapel of J. Hoyt Thomas Funeral Home (1011 Topaz Ln, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Melrose Hills Memorial Park (9446 Villa Rica Hwy, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
