He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Tabor Holcomb and Ida Williams Holcomb; his wife Marvelle Longino Holcombe; his daughter Kaye Causey; his grandson Max Causey; and his siblings, Elmer Holcombe, Sarah Lanier, Burl Holcomb, Colleen McDougal and Hamp Holcombe.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Gayle Holcombe of Douglasville and John Carlton Holcombe of Douglasville; his son-in-law Billy Causey of Cumming; his brother-in-law Dwight Longino of Tallapoosa; his grandchildren, Rachel, Thad Tuck of Peachtree City and Sam Carlton Causey of Bend; his great grandchildren, Cole Tuck and Jack Tuck of Peachtree City; and his cousin Roger Pope of Canton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Collins Funeral Home (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
