She is survived by: her husband William Slayton; her children, Janis Pressley (Ernest) of Winchester, Joanna 'Lisa' Williams (Shaun) of Concord and Aubrey Smith, Sr. (Diane) of Plano, Texas; her sisters, Savannah 'Louise Merritts of Atlanta, Flora 'Hazel Chatman of Anniston and Gertrude C. Davis of Atlanta, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Ronald Smith, Aubrey Smith, Jr., Gabriel Davis, Erin M. Williams, Erica M. Williams, Elise M. Williams, Kennedy A. Moore and Kendall 'Aden Moore. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
