She was predeceased by: her husband Burnell Redding; her parents, John Thomas Gilland and Mae Boyd Gilland; her sister Mary Frances Gilland Raburn (Elmer); her parents-in-law, O. M. Redding (Monk) and Lucile Hilton Redding; her sister-in-law Linda Redding Hamrick; and her nephew Stacey Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl, Ernest Varney of Douglasville, Mike, Janie Redding of Villa Rica, Carol and Keith Wilde of Villa Rica; her grandchildren, Adam, Jessica Varney of Carrollton, Laura, Ryan Lichterman of Los Angeles, Tyson, Priya Redding of New York City, John, Katie Redding of Villa Rica, Jason and Jade Wilde of Villa Rica; her great grandchildren, Owen, Nolan Varney, Miles, Roca, Nico Lichterman and Greyson Wilde; her sister Linda (Charles); and her caregivers, Susie Wynn, Kathy Boykin, Brenda Ware, Susie Noles, Gilmer Sheffield and Gale Walker.
