She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Stephens and Alice Stephens; her husband Charles C. Darnell; and her daughter Donna Leigh Darnell. She is survived by: her son Randy; her daughter-in-law Renee Darnell of Eatonton; her son Russell; her daughter-in-law Frankie Darnell of Mableton; her brothers, Jerry (Wanda Stephens) and Bill (Diane Stephens); her grandchildren, Christian Darnell, Nikki Irving, Anna Feeny, Ben Darnell and Luke Darnell; and her great grandchildren, Kamrin, Bentley, Kingston, Justus, Hayleigh and Hayden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davis-Struempf Funeral Home (1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Davis-Struempf Chapel (1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106).
Flowers are accepted, or in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concord Baptist Church in honor of Barbara.
