He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Peavy and Eleanor Tippett Peavy; and his brother James Tippett Peavy. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Tish" Peavy; and his children, Michael Edward Peavy (Lucy) and Kathi Ann Peavy Beavers (Kenneth). He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
