He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Lee Hines Davis and Ulysses Davis; his wife Annie Jenkins Davis; and his siblings, Lewis Terry, Eddie Will Terry, Jessie Davis, Marcellus Davis, Mitchell Davis, Mary Jane Daniels, Eula Mae Slaughter and Eva Alston.

He is survived by: his daughters, Chandra McCrary (Hosea, Sr.) of Morrow and Lewita Shatee of California; his grandchildren, Hosea "Mark" McCrary, Jr. of Morrow, James McCrary of Morrow, Serita McCrary of Morrow and Leila Shatee of California; his great grandchild Soraya McCrary; his siblings, Minnie Mae Davis Dockins of Cuthbert, Georgia, Karen Johnson of Cuthbert, Georgia and Robert Davis (Ruth) of Atlanta, Georgia; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Freeney (Jacob) of Albany, Dorothy Jenkins of Albany, Sammie Jenkins of Dawson, Georgia and Samolyn Jenkins of Dawson, Georgia; and his close friend Betty Ward. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Willie grew up in a home where Christian faith was the foundation.
