He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Louie Simmons and Lela Mae Burnette Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Lois Simmons of Vienna; his daughter Michele Simmons Harvey of Vienna; his siblings, Raymond Simmons of Abbeville and Elizabeth "Peggy" West of Tifton; and his grandchildren, Jason Harvey and Cheryl Harvey of Montezuma.
