He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Rogers Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Reginald Rogers Jr. of Atlanta, Brandon Rogers Sr. of Sylvester and Candace Rodriguez (Phillip) of Asheville; his grandchildren, Regina Rogers, Reggie Rogers, Amara Rogers, Faith Hillmon, Re-Nyjah Hillmon and Brandon Rogers Jr.; his mother Ruby Rogers Felton of Sylvester, Georgia; and his siblings, Loretta Brown of Cordele, Joanne Rogers of Graham, Rose McGill (Dennis) of Sylvester, Janice Johnson of Graham, Joseph Rogers Jr. (Gail) of Cordele and Cessil Rogers Sr. (Leila) of Cordele. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
