She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Akins and Junnie Chastain Akins; her brother Buddy Akins; and her husband Curtis Conner. She is survived by: her son Wes; her daughter-in-law Liz Goodroe of Marietta; her grandchildren, Mason Goodroe of Wichita, Kansas and Brooke Conner Pittman (Tony) of Dublin; her great grandchildren, Layla Giddens, Landon Giddens, Lilee Giddens and Rose Giddens; her nieces, Betty Smith (Mike) of Bismark and Amy Akins Fore (Marty) of Crisp County; and her nephew Robbie Akins (Kim) of Uvalda.
